Helped a lost dog!

Yesterday as we were coming home we found a dog just frozen on the middle of the street. Looked around and nobody was there, knocked on a few doors and nobody seemed to recognize it so we brought it home. First thing this morning I started calling shelters, getting him checked for a microchip trying my hardest to find his home. Nothing. Nobody recognized him or knew of anybody looking for a lost dog.  After I picked my daughter up from school today I started driving around the neighborhood just to see if someone was looking for him or if any posters were put up. As I was talking to a random lady who was walking the owner actually came up to me to see if I've seen him and luck would have it was the dog. He was in the car with me. I handed him over and everything was set right. His name is Casper. I was way off. I was calling him Bob. LOL! I'm so happy. He was the sweetest dog. Well behaved and so nice.  Hopefully I made their day.  I know it made mine.

I had been working on the Thank You cards for my son's birthday gifts. They're done. I'll be back tomorrow with those.

Lawnscaping Challenge #23

Hello,
For today's post I have a tag I created for the current challenge over at Lawnscaping:

My Tag:

Close Up:

For the tag itself I layered some scrap blue cardstock on top of some cardboard. Cut it out using Sizzix/Tim Holtz Tag and Bookplates die. For the snowflakes I took the snowflakes out of Lawn Fawn's Making Frosty Friends. Stamped then with Versamark, added Stampin' Up!'s Heat and Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamonds glitter. Distressed the edge of the die with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. For the snow globe I used a Silhouette File Snow Globe C20091007162508_2581 cut with Grafix 12x12 .007 Plastic Sheets and for the metal paper at the bottom of the globe and as the reinforcer of the tag I used DCWV The Metallic 8x8 Stack. Stamped Lawn Fawn's Winter Bunny on Cryogen cardstock and colored in with my Copics. Added a tiny pompon for the tail and used Zig Two Way glue pen on the scarf to add some Dazzling Diamonds. I meticulously cut him out and popped him up with pop dots on the outside of the snow globe. For the inside I took some scrap glitter cardstock and cut a slope in it.  The trees are a Cuttlebug die Tree Tops applied some DecorArt Snow Writer and added some Diamond Stickles to the top to make it look like snow. To create the To, From and the names I used Lawn Fawns Harold's ABC. Attached the tag to the top of the cellophane bag with some white seam binding.

Whiff of Joy card

Hello,
For today's post I have a card using I miss you Gnome stamp. I've never used this company before.  Allthatscraps.com was having a sale on them so I decided to check them out. I gotta say they're super cute. I picked up two images and I wish I would of gotten more of them.

My card:

For the card base I used The Paper Company Kraft cardstock. Cut at 5 1/2 x11. Scored in half to make a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 square card.  Stamped Cosmo Cricket/Unit Stamp Comp. row of mushroom houses from Pixie-Licious Fairies Stamp set stamped with Stampin' Up!'s Bermuda Bay ink. Stamped the Whiff of Joy stamp on Cryogen White cardstock and colored it in with my Copics. For his little hat I used a scrap piece of cardstock from Cosmo Crickets Material Girl 6x6 Mini Deck. Popped the hat up with some foam dots and also the house.  For the heart bubble I used Quickutz Speech Bubble 2x2 die stamped with a sentiment from Unity Stamp Co. Lollipop Tree You and Me stamp set. The clouds were punched using the same scrap paper from Cosmo Cricket using Fiskars Medium and Large Cloud punch.

Market Street Stamps Card

Hello,
Today's card featured a couple of stamps from Market Street Stamps. I made this card for the current guest designing challenge they have going on. It actually closes in 40 minutes so I'm really pushing it this time.

My card:

For the card base I used Kraft cardstock from The Paper Studio. Stamped Market Street Stamps Hearts a Plenty background stamp with Stampin' Up! Bermuda Bay ink.  Punched two hearts with Stampin' Up!'s Full Heart Punch using a pattern paper from Cosmo Cricket's Material Girl 6x6 Mini Deck. On the top heart I attached a button with some embroidery thread threaded through it and on the second heart I have a sentiment from Market Street Stamps Computer Cutie stamped on some Recollections Cream Cardstock. I took a square punch to create the banner edge on it and attached it with some foam dots. All my edges were distressed with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by:
