Moving

Well we're in the middle of packing up the apartment to move to our rental home. I'm so excited. Probably won't be around much until that's done. I'm definitely looking forward to the move but I hate packing. It's so time consuming. We're going through all of our stuff giving stuff to goodwill and throwing stuff away. It's king of nice to get rid of all these extra things we don't need. We're going to be about 1/2 a mile from the beach. Very excited about that. Going to be spending all my time at the beach this summer. Well gotta go and keep on packing.

See you in the new house!!!!!

The "Randy" Shelf

There has been a few great organizational items that have come in the market. Since we don't really have the room to have them all my husband and I came up with our own version of them. This shelf mixed the Making Memories shelf, the Clip it up and the wall of peg boards that some people use. Why do we call the shelf the Randy shelf you ask. Well there is a very simple explanation for that. You see my husbands name is Ryan and my name is Yaritza so: R-and-Y=Randy. Pretty genius huh??? My husband came up with this name a couple of years ago when the whole mixing of celebrity couple's name became popular.

A Rak: Leave a comment on the blog about the shelf and I will put all the names in a hat and have my 3 year old pick a name. You will get the Heidi swapp clear stamp "Remember" featured in Courtney's webisode in www.scrapinstyletv.com: "The Shabby Rockstar collection with Courtney". Check back on Tuesday Feb. 5th for the winner announcement.

A crappy week

My daughter and I have both been sick for this whole week. I'm finally able to see clearly so I though I'd come on here and update. I don't know what we had. She had the cough and runny nose and I had Haven't don't any scrappin this week. I did finish this awesome layout last week and a few other projects I had started. My daughter posing as always, looking oh so cute. We finally gave out month notice to the apartment complex. I'm so happy. Now the house hunting begins. We have to find a rental in a month. So far there are 2 home to look at on Monday so that's a good sign. The sooner we find a home the less minutes I use on my cell phone talking which is a big plus. Tomorrow we'll be cleaning the storage room and getting rid of all the crap we've been hoarding for years. It's going to feel so good to not drag this stuff out anymore. OH I can't wait. This place is horrible. Just today we got a letter from the city that they have not paid the water bill. Mind you for the last 2 months every tenant has had to pay their own water bill so I don't know how the hell they don't have the money to do so. They don't have to pull it out of pocket anymore. Ryan is going up to the office on Monday and if they have no intention or paying it the rent check is getting canceled. The letter said that if it's not payed in 5 days the water is getting shut off and if/when it happens the water stays off for more than 48 hours we have to evacuate cause it's not considered a suitable place to live. If that happens I'm going to be completely ticked off. Can you imagine trying to find a place to live with 3 people and 7 animals. That's insane. The more I think about it the more I get upset at the whole thing. Well here is a pic of the layout I did. Doesn't she look so cute?!!!

Till next time

Nothing new

Nothing new going on in my life. Been feeling kind of crappy since getting my tooth out. I never felt any pain in the area, but physically it really hit me. Headaches, neck hurting and today I feel like my throat is closing up. Kind of hard to eat anything hard.

Let's see, Tomorrow I'm meeting a friend of mine at Chukee E cheese for lunch. YEAH!!! (not really, I'll just spend the whole time chasing after her since she'll just want to put coins in the machines but not actually play with them.)

Thursday I'm taking my last sugar glider to get fixed. Hopefully I can get them all in one cage now. One less cage to clean and to have to travel with so I'm very excited about that.

I have been craving hot chocolate with toffee bites pieces in it. Been having at least one a day. It tastes so good. Feels good on my throat too.

I can't sleep as usual. Just rambling on about nothing. I want to sleep. I hate getting up in the morning and feeling like a truck ran me over. Ryan set up my hello kitty humidifier by my side of the bed to see if that helps me sleep a little better. It's really dry heat in the bedroom kind of uncomfortable.

Been trying to potty train Isabella and that has not gone over very well. She just refuses to go. She'll sit there for hours and do nothing and as soon as I put a diaper on her she goes. I was advised to let her rest for a little while and try again so that's what I'm going to do. I really wish she'd get the hang of it fast. I'm tired of changing diapers for now.

Well this is all my rambling for tonight.

Dental surgery today.

Today I had to have a tooth removed. The Orthodontist said it will clear up some room so my teeth can straighten out the rest of the way. I hated it. I felt every pull and yank. It was over in like 5 minutes though. now I'm in bed with a sore face. Atleast it wasn't as bad as when I had my wisdom teeth taken out.

Last night I just could not sleep so I made an altered journal for sketches. Sometimes I'm laying in bed at night and I get an idea and I forget by the time I get up so this should help me keep my layout fresh and new.

I used my favorite stamp company in the world. Inque boutique for the corner semi circle. Basic gray magnetic clasps to hold the book open (my new favorite tool). Misc. Ribbon and cardstock. The owl I cut with the cricut from the Happily ever after cartridge. Modpodge the whole thing. I love the way it looks. So happy and cheerful.

Scrap room on wheels

Ryan just got me this last night. Ain't it great. It clears up my sewing able so now I can sew and scrap without having to worry about packing one thing to do another. I can scrap anywhere in the apartment too. I absolutely love it.
