I tried to color in the image as fast as I could so that the video didn't run too long. I managed to do it in under 10 min. I really wanted you to see me color it in all the way.
I have never seen watercolor pencils used and I didn't even know there was such a thing as a water pen. I am going to have to get some of these! Thank you so much for doing this tutorial, Yaritza!
Most watercolor pencils will give you the same result. I have used the kids crayola brand and I get pretty good results aswell. You just have to make sure that the package specifically states that they are watercolors.
Another excellent tutorial...I took a class on this at my local LSS....it is a very fun technique and you did and awesome job explaining and demoing it...
