My new apron

My DH's grandma was in town for a couple of days.  I needed an apron for my Demo classes. She helped me put this together.  I love the way it looks.  It's so bright, it's so me.  Joanns is having a really good sale on fabric. I only payed $5.60 for all this fabric.

Finally it's done.

I've been working on this layout since last night. I couldn't find the perfect something to finish it. Glad it's finally done.  This is my daughter and I at the movies.  At the beach they offer free kids movies on Tuesdays during the summer.  We go to MCD's and have some dinner before hand. Which so happens that Tuesday is also family night at MCD's and happy meals are only $1.40. Then we head to the beach.  We have such a great time her and I.

Supplies:
TLC: Cardstock, die cute label.
Cuttlebug: Girls figurines

Cricut ink video

Here is a quick video I made showing how to use the Cricut inks. The last part didn't exactly color like it was supposed to. It's hard working with one hand. Plus I didn't find the center correctly. Well I hope it answers some questions as to what you can do with them. If you have any more let me know.

Winner

Thanks to all that participated in my first challenge.  The winner is Mary. Congrats. Here is the submission picture. Didn't she do a fab job!!!!

Fiskars sewing challenge

There was a sewing challenge over at the Fiskateers message board. Well it got my juices flowing and I came up with this layout. So cute. My daughter was standing next to me the whole time. The sounds she was making every time I did something else she though was cute. I'm glad that she's happy with her layout. This is her 3rd birthday party. It feels so good to scrapbook again. Now I hope I can keep the creativity alive and catch up a bit more.

(All of the border punches and shears are make by Fiskars)
I used the Scallop daisy border punch for the top. The bottom scallop border was done with the scallop sewing shears then glued the left over flower confetti form the scallop daisy border punch. The grass was done with Leave it to weaver border punch then the trimmed with the pinking shears to make it more jagged.

**********My daughter posing. She was so proud*********

Another way to put a hole in a note pad

If you don't have a crop a dial, to be able to put holes in some of the materials I've been making videos of you can still use your good old hammer and eyelet setting tool kit. Here is a quick video demonstrating it.

If you have any other question please let me know.

Video 3 will be up later this afternoon.
