Week #1 Challenge Video #1

Here is the first video. I decided to make it a card since I always forget the card. I get so busy making everything else that when I go to hand the gift, no card.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Happy Monday

I have been thinking about all the things that I have to do for Christmas.   I know it's early, but there are so many people to give.  There are also some homemade gifts to make to hand out.
Here is a little challenge. Everyday this week I will be uploading a new tutorial.  Very easy and simple to make but when put together in a gift bag (which I will also show how to make) will make a big impact.  This will be something nice to give to a co-worker or a teacher.  So please join me in this weeks challenge.  On Friday the final video will be uploaded and you will have until Monday to complete everything.  Everyone who completes the challenge  please link it on here either to a blog or email me at so that I can post it for you. Everyone who completes the challenge will get their name put in a drawing for a small RAK.  I will pick one winner and announce it right here on Tuesday.

Todays video will be uploaded later this afternoon.  Until then, here are a couple of cards that I completed this weekend.

Supplies used:
Stamps: Unity stamps company's Giggle Grove
Cuttlebug embossing folder: Birds and Swirls
Scallop circle: Cricut's Minnie Monogram cartridge

Supplies used:
SU: Tart and Tangy Strawberry with the Scratch N Sniff embossing techinique
Xyron design runner used to make "You're so sweet!" cut with the SU word window punch
Stickles Black Diamon for the black spots on the strawberry's.

Thanks for stopping by.

PG 13 Card

I got this fabulous stamp set called Twisted Sentiments by My Favorite Things.  I love all the "adult" phrases that are included in those.  My friends and I are not very gushy people so these phrases help me get the point across with a little adult humor.  My best friend just found out he is having a baby. This is the card I made for them. I just love the way it came out and I know he's going to get a kick out of it.

Supplies used:
Stamping up: OH my work stamp set
My favorite things: Twisted Sentiments
Fiskars: Threading water punch
Cricut: Minnie monograms cartridge scallop cirlces and regular circles
W R Memory Keepers: Crop a dial for holes in scallop circles

Thanks for stopping by.

My $10 organizational item from the hardware store

I found this the other week for $10. It's awesome. It's got 18 compartments. I store my buttons and my smaller prima flowers. I also have some plastic embellishments and some of the HG pins. It can be store closed to take to crops or you can open it up when at home. So convenient.
