My new toy!
I'm so excited I can't barely stand it! I wanted something small to drive around town since both kids will be in school next year and I don't need to lug my gas guzzler to run errands. I knew I wanted a mini convertible, no questions. So we got to shopping. The first car sold the night before, the second car (the one I bought) was pretty good. Third car a newer model and they didn't even want to take $100 off. Fourth car, 2 hrs. away so misleading. The top didn't even snap into place, all scratched up and just not that good of a condition for what they're asking. Through the week we were looking online and there was really nothing in our price range with low miles. We decided to head back and look at the second car. Compared to what we've seen and researched it was just a no brainer. 2005 with only 16500 miles on it. Un real. They were even willing to negotiate the price and went down $1750 from the asking price. So I brought it home! It's an S with dual exhaust and manual. Love manual cars and I missed having it since getting the SUV. Of coarse this week it's supposed to rain. Figures.

Thrifty Tuesday
No Thrifty Tuesday today. I decided to take a few weeks off shopping and focus on the house and getting crafts done that I've either started or have been thinking of doing. I mean seriously I need more clothes and shoes like I need a hole in my head. LOL! I'm in the middle of making my kids teachers their spring gifts. Planning on filming one of them tonight. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll have a new video and project to share.

Now back...
...to our regularly scheduled programming!
No posts for the last week. My husband and I were finally able to take our Honeymoon after almost 9 years of marriage. It was amazing and no kids! We went to one of the Bahamas Island, Cat Island. Ill have pics later in the week. Right now we're trying to catch up on laundry and the house. Oh and also try to get over the sun burn. We're so itchy and peely. YUK!

House Work….
….YUK! I'm an awful Stay at Home Mom. I hate house work. Like with a passion. I go through faces were I do something every day and the house looks fantastic for a little bit. Then I go through faces were I do nothing. The problem with that is that I have 2 kids, a hubs and 7 animals. Within a matter of hours my house can go from completely clean to a total mess and I have no idea how it happened. I'm having company over this weekend and I seriously need to get going. Instead what am I doing? Blogging, which I believe I'm worst at doing than actual house work, which is proving the fact of how much I actually hate housework. LOL!
In other news I'm completely caught up on all my shows! Which is important.

Weight lifted off...
I had this epiphany today and decided to do away with things that just weren't making me happy and things that I just didn't need. I cancelled all my scrapbook kit/stamp subscriptions. I had this really cute room. Now I have this un organized mess. The kits just sit there un touched and the stamps have never been inked. Quite honestly I was also spending a fortune and there are more important things in this world than paper and stamps and it's time to start saving for it. I also went through Facebook and un friended a whole bunch of people. If you truly were my "friend" then you should have my number and can reach me that way. I honestly feel so much better. So much lighter. Now I just need to get in that room as use my stash so I can start getting it back in order.

So.. I turned 30 Yesterday
I had the big 3-0 yesterday. I gotta say it doesn't feel so bad. I thought I was going to have a big revelation or something but not really. I still feel like my old self. I think it may have something to do with the fact that I don't really act my age. I'm still a huge kid at heart and I seem to project that a lot in the way I act and my likes.
I had a pretty good day. My husband took me to an Antique mall I've been wanting to go to for a while but was always afraid to do so with the baby since those places always seem to be cramped and I didn't know if I would be able to maneuver with a stroller. But it actually was pretty roomy and they had carts which made it so much easier. I didn't purchase anything but I did see a stainless steel Clarinet that I cried over but had to leave with the holidays being so close it was something that I just could not splurge on. I played clarinet all through middle school, high school and the two years I attended college. Everyday I ask myself why did I not keep with it since it was such a huge love of mine. I think I'm going to make it a goal now. Try and get back into it.
On my way to the Antique mall, I received an email that my new Embroidery/Sewing/Quilting machine had arrived. I ordered it on black Friday from a local shop and I was not expecting it to come so fast. But it did and it's absolutely beautiful. I got the Janome Memory Craft 11000 SE. It's a wonderful machine. I've been playing with it since last night. The embroidery part is easy. The computer aspect of it is not. My husband figured it out for me and tried to teach me. I though I had it down but I got on it this morning and was not able to figure out 1/2 of what I wanted to do. I'm not very good with computers and technical stuff so I'm not surprised I'm having such a hard time with it. I named her Audrey. I'm planning on making some vinyl letters so I can decorate her with her name. LOL!
In the afternoon My husband ordered pizza got me a cake/cupcake mix thing. He decorated it with 30 candles. It was pretty funny how much light it projected. He turned the lights off and the room lit up pretty good. The kids sung me happy birthday and they helped blow out the candles. Then I just went back into my craft room to figure the new machine out and played with it until I went to bed. All in all it was a pretty good chill day.

Where have I a been?
I found myself exhausted. I was trying to do too much. The kids, the house, they gym, my crafts, the blog, the animals and so on and so on and I was going to bed at 2 a.m. sometimes waking up the next day and trying to do it all over again. I had to take a break. My mojo was seriously lacking anyways. Was starting projects not even finishing them. I have two boxes of half started things. I needed a breather to just be. Still kept up with a few things. Went to the gym a few times a week instead of everyday for 2 hrs. I know crazy. Hardly did anything craft related except for thank you cards. Thank goodness I had made Christmas cards for random challenges ahead of time so I had something nice to present Gift Cards in to my family. I'm now starting to get back into the swing of things. Got a new crafting island for my craft room.
Organized a little bit more. There were a few things I felt were out of place. Today I'm starting to sew covers for some of my new machines. I need to make a covers for the Imagine and I got the Cameo for Christmas so I need to make a cover for that as well. All my machines are covered. My animals roam free, specially the cats. They climb all over my stuff and there is animal hair everywhere. I don't want my machines getting jammed up with hair.
I'll be starting more videos soon. I've been having all sorts of issues with cameras. Some stopped working, rechargeable batteries died, one needed special sd card ( I mean why would if be too easy to use one of the 20 others I have laying around) didn't have any extra money cause of the holiday to resolve those issues.
Money is getting caught up and I'm feeling good so back to regular programing!! My first few videos are going to be organization videos. I have a stamp organization one started and I want to do a room tour since everything is pretty much done. Well that's it for today.

Helped a lost dog!
Yesterday as we were coming home we found a dog just frozen on the middle of the street. Looked around and nobody was there, knocked on a few doors and nobody seemed to recognize it so we brought it home. First thing this morning I started calling shelters, getting him checked for a microchip trying my hardest to find his home. Nothing. Nobody recognized him or knew of anybody looking for a lost dog. After I picked my daughter up from school today I started driving around the neighborhood just to see if someone was looking for him or if any posters were put up. As I was talking to a random lady who was walking the owner actually came up to me to see if I've seen him and luck would have it was the dog. He was in the car with me. I handed him over and everything was set right. His name is Casper. I was way off. I was calling him Bob. LOL! I'm so happy. He was the sweetest dog. Well behaved and so nice. Hopefully I made their day. I know it made mine.
I had been working on the Thank You cards for my son's birthday gifts. They're done. I'll be back tomorrow with those.

Birthday Gift!
I got an IMAGINE! I got an IMAGINE! YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! YEAH!
This B**** is Huge. I was shocked when I opened it up and heavy too. I've been having a lot of fun playing with it. Hubs got it at Walmart at the Black Friday price yesterday. If you're interested go check it out. My Walmart still had plenty left. Now to stock up on Imagine carts!

Busy weekend!
Saturday was a full day of running errands and t-ball practice. Today... Yard work. we have a pretty descent yard and lots of vegetation. I don't do yard work. Not good at it and I also don't have the patience. We are taking a lot of it out and are going to keep it simple and nice. The nicer it looks without any work the better for me. My hands have taken a beating today. All cut up and sore sore sore. I definitly could not do that all the time. Well that's it for today.

What I'm doing this week...
...cleaning. That's all. Between my daughter getting the flu, my son and I with strep throat the house was a disaster. We have family coming this weekend and I really want to make sure the house looks nice so all my energy and efforts will be put to cleaning and organizing my home. Hopefully this weekend can get some scrapping done.

Fast Internet...
..finally!
We got this local Internet service when we first moved into the house that was cheap since we're doing some work to the house and we were looking to save money, well it was slow as heck. It took for ever to upload videos and if my husband started playing ps3 forget it. Everything would stall out. There is a website that measures your wifi speed or whatever, 0-10, 0 is the slowest and 10 the fastest. We came in at .05. No lie. Tonight after the upgrade with a bigger company we're at 8.05. Yeeeessssss!! It's like heaven. My husband is plaing as we speak and I just finished watching a YouTube vid. No stalling, no buffing just playing. I'm so happy!

Two sugar gliders hurt
So I've been gone a while. Another one of my gliders got attacked and I found the attacker in action. Thankfully I caught it as it was happening so my second glider's bite mark is only the size of a pea. Took my three males in to the Vet today and got them checked out. Everybody looked good, no infections and the glider that was causing all the commotion got a shot that helps calm down his testosterone so hopefully he'll stop attacking and we can eventually work on acclimating all the gliders together again. If not I'm going to have to split them up into pairs in different cages. What a mess. I have them all separated right now so I have 4 cages out. That's a lot of cleaning for me. But it's worth it as long as they are safe. My crafting mojo has left temporarily but hopefully this weekend I'll be able to sit down and create something. I got a few new goodies I would like to play with. Well that's all for today.

MIA with a hurt glider
I have not really been in the mood to sit and create. My bigger male sugar glider attacked one of my other males and left about a nikel size wound on his back. I've been watching him making sure he's eating and well. Poor little guy. I feel so bad for him. I have to keep him away fom everybody until he's healed and his fur grows back. I had to take out my travel cage to put him in our bedroom so that I can better look out for him. He's hanging from my neck on a pouch. They're such colony based animals that I'm afraid he's going to get lonely and hurt himself if he's kept alone too long so I'm providing him company as much as possible. I would post a pic but it's very groosome. Kinda gross looking really. I freaked out when I first saw it. I've never seen anything like it and they've been living together for 5 years without incidents.
I'll have a card to share tomorrow that I finished a few days ago.
Well that's all for tonight. Thanks for stopping by:

New member of the family!
So yesterday we had a huge snow storm and I ran out of cat food. I sent Ryan to go, all the while he had promised our daughter that she was either going to come home with a hamster or a bird. Low and behold he calls cause she's fallen in love with a cat. Of coarse I was ecstatic. She's beautiful. Three years old and so sweet. Her name is Grace. My dogs are doing okay with her, she's not doing okay with them. They said that she's used to being around dogs, cats and small children's, but you got to understand that there is an 80lb. baby of a boxer running at you at full speed I would swat to. The other two dogs don't really care. They're used to having animals coming in. My older cat in the other hand, not sure if he likes having a house mate. Every now and then they say a few choice words at each other, a little hissing and then other times they just sit there and stare at each other. She's doing so well with the children. Even when the 1 year old comes at her face and screams in excitement she just lays there and stares. Let's him pet her and everything. I think she's going to be a great addition to this crazy family. Without further ado here she is:
As you can see she has made herself at home in my craft room. Ryan removed some of my tools and put her bed in there and she just loved it. Started rolling around and purring so I guess that's where she'll stay. I'm probably going to have to open up another cubby for my old cat since he's probably going to be jealous that he doesn't have his own spot. Oh well. I'll just have to find another place to store my supplies.
