Whiff of Joy card

Hello,
For today's post I have a card using I miss you Gnome stamp. I've never used this company before.  Allthatscraps.com was having a sale on them so I decided to check them out. I gotta say they're super cute. I picked up two images and I wish I would of gotten more of them.

My card:

For the card base I used The Paper Company Kraft cardstock. Cut at 5 1/2 x11. Scored in half to make a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 square card.  Stamped Cosmo Cricket/Unit Stamp Comp. row of mushroom houses from Pixie-Licious Fairies Stamp set stamped with Stampin' Up!'s Bermuda Bay ink. Stamped the Whiff of Joy stamp on Cryogen White cardstock and colored it in with my Copics. For his little hat I used a scrap piece of cardstock from Cosmo Crickets Material Girl 6x6 Mini Deck. Popped the hat up with some foam dots and also the house.  For the heart bubble I used Quickutz Speech Bubble 2x2 die stamped with a sentiment from Unity Stamp Co. Lollipop Tree You and Me stamp set. The clouds were punched using the same scrap paper from Cosmo Cricket using Fiskars Medium and Large Cloud punch.

Copic Colors used:
Colorless Blender
110 Special Black
BG15, BG18
E0000, E000, E00
G94, G99
N2
R24, R27, R29

Unity Stamp Co. Sketch Challenge

This card is created for Unity Stamp Co. Kit of The Month challenge. They provide a sketch and you make a card interpreting it using one of their Kits of the Month stamps. Click here for more info.
I chose Just Be You from Dec. 2010 to complete my card. Stamped the scallop circle with Jenni Bowlin for Ranger Fountain Pen ink on pattern paper from Authentique 6x6 paper pad Blissful. Cut the outside of the scallop with scissors and used one of my Standard Circles Large Nestabilities to cut the middle of the scallop circle and the top later of the card base, I used The Paper Company Kraft cardstock found at Joanns for my base. I have this really old Ellison design die called Tags, Traditional. I cut the large tag with American Crafts Charcoal cardstock. The scallops were cut using Quickutz die Scallop Edges using more of the pattern paper from the same Aunthentique paper pad, stitched around the edges and added a button using Epiphany Crafts Button Studio Tool Hear 20 with some jute twine tied in a bow. For the inside of the card I stamped the bee from the same Unity Kit with Stazon ink in Jet Black and colored it in with Prismacolor pencils in PC915 Lemon Yellow and PC904 Light Cerulean Blue. That finished this card.

Unity card

Hello Everyone,
I have a card to share with you today. This features two stamps from Unity Stamp Company KOM Nov. 2010 Picture Perfect. I'm a new recent subscriber to their monthly kits and I love them.  This kit is what got me hooked. Once I saw this couch and frame collage I knew I had to have it.

Breakdown and supplies:
First I cut the piece of pattern paper from October Afternoon's The Thrift Shop called Needs Paint. Stamped the frames from the Unity kit with ColorBox's Chestnut Roan Chalk ink. Added some small Prima flowers and pearls from Imaginisce Glam Rocks Pearls attached with my Tulip Heat setting tool. The small birds were images I had seen on the web and asked this company, Imagine Stamps, to make them for me out of clear stamps. Then took the back side of the patterned paper and used Fiskars Apron Lace Border punch to add a decorative edge. Wrapped some white May Arts Silk ribbon distressed with Vintage Photo Distressing Ink. Some Prima flowers, a custom made pin using a Heidi Grace pin from the Woodland collection and some embroidery floss. I stamped the couch using the back side of the patterned paper and cut it out.  Popped it up using pop dots.  It all got attached to a standard size card using Recollection's Kraft paper

That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by:

Some new Rubbah

I got my shipment form Unity stamp company.  I love my new stamps. Here are a few things I made with some of the new sets. You guys need to check them out. They have fantastic prices and the shipping is a flat $5 rate.  Can't beat that.

For this card I used Becoming Butterfly
Then I took some packaging and cut a ghost butterfly out with my sixxiz die. Used the cuttlebug embossing folder Textile Texture. Distressed the edges a bit with some ink. For the colorful butterflies inside the image I stamped the sentiment on some paper and cut the butterflies out. Then pop them up with some pop dots. Added some stickles for some bling.

I went to buy some sticky note pads. When I got home I realized that they were lose paper. Used my BIA to bind it all together. The cover and pack are made out of chipboard. Used the Cricut cartridge Accent Essentials for the frame. This Unity Stamp Copmay stamp is called Hey chick. So cute. Love these birds. Colored it in with SU watercolor pencils. Used some stickles for some bling. Added some ribbon on the wires.

Here is what the inside looks like.

For this card I used Hey Chick again. Mounted the stamps on my Fiskars stamps press so that I can make sure that they stamps lined up correctly. Colored them in with SU watercolor pencils. Used some CTMH liquid glass to add a little shine and texture to certain parts of the birds. Used my Large Long Scallop Rectangle Nestabilities die to make the frame. Used my Fiskars scallop fabric shears to make an edge on my card. Added some primas and did a little paper piercing on the side.
The talk bubble was cut with the Cricut cartridge George. The "hello" is also from Hey chick.

That's it. Thanks for stopping by. I probably won't have much on this weekend. Today I have to get ready for my first demo at ACM's and tomorrow I'll be at ACM almost all day doing the demo.
