.. I'm a little obsessed with Twilight. It all started by watching the first two movies. My sister, severely obsessed with the whole thing, Let me borrow them. I though to myself. Pretty good. She then proceeded to tell me I had to read the books cause there is more information in there and so that I can understand everything that is going on. Me? read? PLEASE! Have not done that since high school, well except for a few magazines here and there. Plus, I have three kids, how much time am I going to have while moving and everything else to sit down and read a 500 page book.
Yesterday I was pretty bored of the hotel room so I decided to drive around and explore a bit. Came to this pretty descent size thrift store. I love thrift stores so I decided to go thrifting. Pretty descent place with some really good deals. Found some things for the kids for $3 or less. A few crafting supplies for 49 cents, a suitcase for 29 cents. I know! right? But my greatest treasure of all, I found Twilight for 49 cents. I bought it. I mean how can I pass it up even if it takes me three months to read. Came back to the hotel. Put the baby down for a nap and I sat down proceeding to read, thinking it would only be a little bit before someone needed me. To my amazement, everybody behaved. I read and read and read. Took care of my motherly duties through the day, kids went to bed and I just kept on reading and reading and reading. So long story short, I read the whole thing and it's not even lunch time yet today. Loved the book, absolutely loved it. There was a little sneak peak of the second installment in the back, read that too. Now I want to go pick up the second book so bad. I did look around yesterday to see if anymore of them were around but I did not find them. Now I have to find the local library and see if they have them in so that I can check them out and read. I have not seen the third movie yet, want to desperately, but I can at least read so that I'm not in limbo the way I was with the first two movies.
So the point I was trying to make... I'm a little obsessed!

What am I doing right now?
.... Sitting on a corner of the hotel room, eating oatmeal raising cookies, drinking root bear and blogging ofcoarse. Got word today that we will be closing on our home on Sept. 2nd. So ready for this. This hotel business is getting old. Baby finally went down for the night. Well until his 2 a.m. feeding. He has been a complete nightmare for naps and bedtime since moving into the hotel. Hope it gets better when he finally has his own room. Hubby is getting some rest. He's making the trip back to VA in the morning to clean and mow the lawn on the VA rental so we can turn our keys in and be done with that chapter of our lives. Me like I said sitting in a corner enjoying some peace and quiet. Trying to be good and not wake anybody up, I should be sleeping but this is the quietest is been in this place since we moved in and I want to enjoy some peace and quite, catch up on some blogs and youtube vids and have a little late night snack.
Will be back with some pics of our home. There is quite a bit of work that needs to be done when moving in. NO fence and 3 dogs means alot of dog walking for me. Basement is not finished and they had 3 girls. We have two boys, so the pink rooms are not going to cut it for them LOL! Gotta get those rooms done ASAP cause once the furniture is put up and everything is sorter out it ain't going to be undone for a very long time. Our daughter does not mind. She's very exited about her pink room.
Good night

Cincinnati here we come!
Well it's official we just signed the final contract on our new home. We're first time home owners. Very exhiting and scary at the same time. We'll be in Cincinnati within the next two weeks. The kids start school soon we we'll be staying in a hotel until we close on the house and we get the keys. I have so many ideas running through my head of all the great things I want to do to the home. The best part of all staying in one place longer than two years. That seems to be the average time we spend somewhere before we move or get transfered. It's all very exhiting.

Twilight
I have to admit that I really was not interested in this whole Twilight obsession that was going on. Up until yesterday I have not seen any of the movies. My sister in the other hand, a huge fan. I asked if I could borrow the movies so that I can see for myself what this whole obsession was about and much to my surprise I fell in love with them. I started watching the first one around 11:30 pm and could not go to bed knowing that the second installment was sitting right there. I watched the second one too. Didn't end up going to be till almost 4 am. Totally worth it. Now I want to go and see if the library has the books so that I can read them all before I see anymore of the movies. My sister says that the books explain things alot better than the movies does. Mind you I have not read a book since I got out of highschool but these movies have made me want to pick one up again.
I've also seen youtube ladies using an Edward stamp to make these cute cards and they also made him glow. Went to the Greetingfarm.com and bought me a digi Edward. I liked him better than the rubber Edward. Here is the link.
He's totally cute and I can't wait until I get to play with him. Technically I'm not supposed to be buying things that need to be shipped since we won't be here for much longer but I figured a digi would not be breaking the rules.
Well I have to go and finish dinner.

My CHA Wish list
CHA is over and so my wish list begins. I don't have too many things on my list this time around but the things that I do want cost a little bit of cash.
My number one:
Teresa Collins new stamp maker. She has a few videos up on youtube showing what this baby can do. Here is a video of her talking about it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTX8cfHXH2E
My number two:
The new Slice Elite by Making Memories. I never did get my old one sold so if anybody is interested let me know but atleast this one is completely different. I can cut thicket material and give a more precise cut.
http://blog.makingmemories.com/2010/07/the-new-slice-elite-.html
My number Three: Some of the news dies from Tim Holtz. Waiting for the rest of the videos to go up on Youtube show casing some of these dies before I make my final selection for pre-ordering.
http://timholtz.typepad.com/my_weblog/2010/07/chasummer-2010-sneak-peek-10-alterations.html
Kinda interested in the new Grand Nestabilities. Probably wait a bit for the price to go down. I can get Cricut cartridges for less than these.

I think that's it for now.
